Largest selection of vintage and modern action figures in the Midwest from the 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s to all the new releases! Established in 2008, Kokomo Toys & Collectibles is a family owned and operated brick & mortar toy store specializing in buying, selling and trading. Open Wednesday through Saturday 12:00-5:00 p.m.
Comics Cubed
Comic book specialty shop that has a wide selection of new comics, back issues, all ages books, trades, artist editions, mini-figures, supplies, and more. This unique shop buys, sells, and trades comic books. New comics every Wednesday! Also hosts Kokomo-Con annually.
Outhouse Records
Great selection of vinyl records and live music on Saturday nights. They also have a selection of movies, books and buy records.
Kingdom Cards & Games
They buy, sell, and trade cards and board games. Special themed events are held throughout the year, including Star Wars, Magic: The Gathering, and Pokemon.

Dine Downtown
After exploring “Geek Street”, grab a bite to eat in downtown! For sandwiches, salads, pizza and drinks, check out Mega J’s Cafe or Oscar’s Pizza. Looking for a larger meal? Try Cook McDoogal’s Irish Pub (21 & over), 3 Amigo’s Mexican Grill, or Marble the Steakhouse. Sun King Brewing Kokomo is also located in downtown in the historic train depot with a family-friendly (and dog-friendly) tap room.

Want to experience some of Kokomo’s homegrown gems? This is your list! These stops will leave you in awe of our local flavor and culture.
Kokomo Opalescent Glass Factory Tour
Kokomo Opalescent Glass (KOG), America’s oldest art glass company, has been making art glass in Kokomo since 1888. Take a “behind-the-scenes” factory tour to watch as glass is hand-ladled, hand-mixed, and rolled from a 2,500-degree furnace. Public factory tours are offered Monday – Friday at 11:00 a.m. You must call in advance to reserve a spot on the tour. Glass produced at KOG is shipped worldwide and can be seen in installations at Disney World, Air Force Academy, in churches throughout the world and even the Vatican!
The OP Shop
After touring the glass factory at KOG, take a piece of Kokomo home with you! Beautiful glass items (all made in Kokomo) are available, including jewelry, suncatchers, serving boards, and stunning blown glass creations. Want to make your own item? Classes are offered year-round to make your own custom-made glass creation.
Elwood Haynes Museum
Visit former home of Kokomo resident and famous local inventor, Elwood Haynes, now housing a collection of his possessions and inventions, including stainless steel, multiple alloys, and a revolving exhibit of his early automobiles. Kokomo’s current ties to the automotive industry are also chronicled.
Artist Alley
Discover Kokomo’s first outdoor public art gallery located in Downtown next to Artworks Gallery – featuring various mediums by local artists and an art replica of “America’s First Car.” Also find murals, a sculpture walk, art galleries and more in downtown.
Blondie’s Cookies
Blondie’s Cookies can be found in many locations throughout Indiana, but got its start in Howard County by local owner Brenda Coffman. Featuring fresh baked cookies, bars & brownies. If you love chocolate, try the Koko Swirl cookies – they melt in your mouth!
Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery
Enjoy lunch or dinner at Half Moon, locally owned and operated. Specialties include their house-smoked BBQ, fresh cut steaks, and selection of local hand-crafted beers, such as the KokoMonster and Wildcat Wheat.
Kokomo Speedway
Many race drivers got their start in Kokomo, racing at the Kokomo Speedway. Races are held seasonally on Sunday evenings from May-September. Annual special events include the Kokomo Grand Prix, Sprint Car Smackdown, and Kokomo Klash.
J. Edwards Gourmet
This local shop specializes in handmade chocolates (regular & sugar-free), gourmet cakes, jumbo cupcakes, and unique gifts. Also try their homemade dips, salsas, and jams!

Kokomo Opalescent Glass is America’s oldest art glass company and has been making art glass in its original location in Kokomo since 1888 – truly a fusion of art and history! Go “behind-the-scenes” to watch as glass is hand-ladled, mixed and rolled from a 2,500-degree furnace. Glass made in Kokomo is shipped worldwide.
Public factory tours are currently offered Mondays through Saturdays at 11 a.m. Tour takes approximately 1.5 hours. Reservations are required for factory tours. Call 765-457-1829 in advance to schedule a tour. Explore the rich heritage and long standing tradition of Kokomo Opalescent Glass!

The OP Shop is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Note: KOG public factory tours are offered Monday-Saturday at 11 a.m.
Seiberling Mansion
The Seiberling Mansion was built in 1891 by industrialist Monroe Seiberling. Though the Seiberling family only lived in the home a few years, the legacy of the historic and stunning mansion lives on, now as the home of the Howard County Museum. Look for the magnificent stained glass windows located throughout, which are made with Kokomo Opalescent Glass! Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday 1-4 p.m. Stunning holiday tours available starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Kokomo Beach Family Aquatic Center
Cool off at this outdoor waterpark with high energy water slides, lazy river, kiddie slides, leisure and lap pools, and kid’s splash pad. Family changing rooms, lockers, and concessions are available.
Local Dining
Kokomo’s large variety of local restaurants offers a unique dining experience. For authentic Italian favorites, check out PASTArrific and Martino’s Italian Villa, inducted in 2017 into the Pizza Hall of Fame. Hawg Heaven and Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery serve up killer house-smoked BBQ. Or check out downtown dining options at Cook McDoogal’s Irish Pub, The Foxes Trail, SUTE Korean BBQ House, Oscar’s Pizza, and Riviera Maya Mexican Grill. Plenty of options to keep your appetite satisfied!
