The Greater Kokomo Visitors Bureau strives to attract economic development through visitor travel to Kokomo and Howard County through the promotion of the area’s many attractions, amenities, and its historical significance.


We assist with facilitating group tours, meetings, sports tournaments and leisure visits for individuals and families, promote local festivals and community events, while also providing programs and information to engage current residents.


The Greater Kokomo Visitors Bureau is a division of the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance.


About Our Board


The Howard County Convention and Visitors Commission, Inc (CVB) was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in Indiana on April 3, 1996 for the purpose of promotion the development and growth of the convention and visitors industry in Howard County, Indiana.

About Our Commission


The Howard County Conventions, Visitors and Tourism Commission (CVT) was formed effective January 1, 2014 by Ordinance No. 2013 BCCO-35 adopted by the Howard County Board of Commissioners following the establishment of an Innkeepers Tax under Indiana Code Section 6-9-18-1, et. seq. The purpose of the CVT is to administer tax revenues and also promote the development and growth of the convention, visitor and tourism industry in Howard County, Indiana.
