Kokomo Opalescent Glass
Tour America’s oldest art glass company and experience a tradition that has been part of Kokomo since 1888.
During a guided behind-the-scenes tour, watch as glass is hand-ladled, mixed, and rolled from a 2,500-degree furnace, and see artisans demonstrate glassblowing techniques in the Hot Glass Studio. Public tours are offered Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and provide a unique look at a centuries-old craft still practiced today.
Seiberling Mansion & Howard County Museum
Built in 1891 by industrialist Monroe Seiberling, this Mansion features late Victorian architecture, hand-carved woodwork, and multiple exhibits highlighting the history of Howard County.
