Music at the Fairgrounds

Spend your evening with great
music and laid-back summer vibes.
Starting in July, you can enjoy live music at the Howard County Fairgrounds in front of the Community Building. Each concert will be held every week on Thursday starting at 7 p.m. The series starts July 23 and runs through Sept. 17.
The best part? Admission is absolutely free! Bring your lawn chairs and a friend or two and enjoy some wonderful music in a peaceful setting. If there is rain in the forecast, concerts will be moved to the Fairground’s Cattle Barn.

• Thursday, July 23: The Salkie Musical Family
• Thursday, July 30: Spittin Image
• Thursday, Aug. 6: Pastime, playing hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s
• Thursday, Aug. 13: Sally Duke, performing patriotic and gospel music
• Thursday, Aug. 20: Tom Johnson & Band, performing classic rock & roll
• Thursday, Aug. 27: Rick Alan King presents "Back Home Again"
• Thursday, Sept. 3: Matt Gerhard performs gospel piano music
• Thursday, Sept. 10: IUK Community Singers with Matt Gerhard
• Thursday, Sept. 17: Eastern High School students' performance at the Karol Evenson Performing Arts Center at Eastern High School
