HCAC Championship Baseball & Softball Come to Kokomo

Catch NCAA Division III conference tournaments May 7–10 in kokomo.

Koko mo is stepping up to the plate this May as it hosts the NCAA Division III Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) 2026 Baseball and Softball Championships.

From May 7-10, six college teams in each sport will compete for a conference title, bringing a full weekend of high-level action to both Kokomo Municipal Stadium and Kokomo High School Softball Stadium. With multiple games scheduled each day, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to catch the excitement and support student-athletes competing at a championship level.

Games will take place Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:45 p.m. Saturday’s matchups are set for 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., with an if-necessary game scheduled for Sunday to determine a champion.

The public is invited to attend all games. General admission is $10 per day, with a 50% discount available for Howard County residents at the gate. HCAC students, faculty, and staff with a valid ID receive free admission, and children 11 and under are also admitted free.

For those planning ahead, advance tickets will be available, making it easy to secure your spot for a full day of competition.

As teams and fans travel into the area, the Greater Kokomo Visitors Bureau is supporting the event through hotel room blocks and hospitality efforts, helping ensure a welcoming experience for all players and visitors.

Whether you're a dedicated baseball or softball fan or just looking for something exciting to do in Kokomo, the HCAC Championships offer a chance to experience competitive college athletics right here in the community.

Have you ever wanted to learn about diverse wildlife up close? The Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department has you covered with Creature Feature experiences, where you can meet live animals and discover more about them!

Throughout the year, Kokomo Parks brings in animal experts to highlight unique creatures ranging from exotic reptiles to gentle farm animals. Each event is held at Jackson Morrow Park’s Kirkendall Nature Center and are free to animal enthusiasts of all ages.

Joy Journey Mobile Petting Farm & Pony Rides

May 9, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

A returning favorite! Joy Journey Mobile Petting Farm will be hosting fun farm animals including a camel, mini horse, calf, goats, sheep, alpacas, chicken, and a bunny rabbit. Pony rides will also be available! Visitors can get face-to-face and see these animals’ personalities.

Take Flight! Birds of Prey Show

June 6, 11 a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m.

Wildlife Education will be bringing in unique birds of prey such as falcons, hawks, and owls and sharing their significance in history and the natural world.

Squishy & Friends Interactive Reptile Show

Reptile Rex will be introducing reptile enthusiasts to all kinds of snakes and reptiles with a “close encounter” experience! The snakes and reptiles are breeds from Africa, Asia, Australia and South and North America.

If chocolate is your love language, clear your calendar. Kokomo’s Chocolate Celebration is back and bringing plenty of reasons to indulge.

Calling all chocolate lovers. Kokomo’s sweetest event of the year returns with Chocolate Celebration on Friday, May 1, 2026.

Held annually on the first Friday of May, this community favorite takes place at One Church Kokomo, located at 2734 S. Washington St. It’s a full-on celebration of all things chocolate, with a wide variety of decadent treats and beverages to enjoy.

Whether you plan to sample your way through the event or grab a few favorites to go, there’s no shortage of options. From rich desserts to chocolate-inspired drinks, it’s a chance to indulge a little, or a lot.

Chocolate Celebration also supports a meaningful cause. Proceeds benefit Samaritan Caregivers, a Kokomo nonprofit that assists individuals 65 and older who are still living at home.

Admission to the event is free. Tickets are sold in bundles of five for $20, with each ticket redeemable for one chocolate treat of your choice. Tickets are available during the event and can be purchased with cash or credit card.

1. Make a splash at Al Berryman Memorial Park Splash Pad

Located at the intersection of North Main and Elm streets, this “under the sea” themed splash pad is built for fun. Sometimes the best way to beat the heat is to slow things down. Highland Park offers plenty of shade for a family picnic or a relaxed walk. While you’re there, explore landmarks like Old Ben (the World’s Largest Steer), the giant Sycamore Stump, the Vermont Covered Bridge, Kokomo Creek, and the park’s trails and playgrounds. The Elwood Haynes Museum is also nearby, where you can learn about local inventor and early automobile pioneer Elwood Haynes.

Artist Alley: Kokomo’s 24/7 Outdoor Art Gallery

Color, creativity, and a little surprise around every corner. No hours. No tickets. Just art.

Downtown Kokomo is full of places that showcase art, but one stands out for being open all day, every day.

Artist Alley is a vibrant outdoor gallery tucked between the Howard County Administration Building and the Kokomo Art Association’s Artworks Gallery. Since 2014, it has served as a space where regional creativity shows up in bold, unexpected ways.

The current exhibit keeps that tradition going strong. Visitors will find bold paintings, mixed media creations, and sculptures. The 12th annual showcase will remain on display through August 2026. A new exhibit is unveiled every September.

And Artist Alley is just the beginning.

Downtown is home to several art-filled alleyways, each with its own style. Geek Alley, located next to Kokomo Toys and Collectibles, features celebrity portrait murals. Garden Alley, on Main Street along the east side of the Courthouse Square, is filled with metal designs and flowers. Back Alley will soon join the lineup with artwork created by artists from The Bohemian Tattoo Club & Art Gallery.

Together, these spaces are part of All Alleys Leads to Art, an initiative from the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association and the Kokomo Art Association.

Right in the heart of downtown, Kokomo’s art scene doesn’t clock out. Artist Alley is always open, always changing, and always worth a walk through.

Have you ever wondered how beautiful art glass is made? Experience the unique process with a behind-the-scenes tour at Kokomo Opalescent Glass, where glass is hand-ladled, mixed and rolled from a 2,500-degree furnace.

Producing beautiful glass since 1888, Kokomo Opalescent Glass is the oldest art glass company in the United States! Factory tours are available Monday through Saturday at 11 a.m. and closed-toe and closed-heel shoes must be worn at all times. After your tour, stop by the OP Shop to take home a Kokomo-made souvenir.

Museum Tours

Local history can be found in the elegant Seiberling Mansion, which is home to the Howard County Museum. As you take a step back into the past, don’t forget to admire the late Victorian architecture, hand-carved woodwork, and stunning stained glass windows … made with Kokomo Opalescent Glass!

Kokomo Reservoir Park

Enjoy the great outdoors in this park, spanning 30 acres with open-air shelters, playgrounds, fishing (pier and bank fishing access), nature trail, and boat launch ramps.

Wildcat Creek Walk of Excellence

Walk, bike, run, or rollerblade through Kokomo. This trail goes through several parks, Downtown Kokomo, and runs alongside the Wildcat Creek. Watch for local wildlife, native plants, and colorful art murals painted by local artists!

Kirkendall Nature Center

Learn about native wildlife and see a large diorama of preserved animals, live animal exhibits, and a bird watching area – all nestled in scenic Jackson Morrow Park.

Cutler Park Pickleball Court Complex

Pickleball has expanded in Kokomo with the Cutler Park complex now open, featuring eight new dedicated pickleball courts and five new tennis courts. Other pickleball courts in Kokomo include four dual-use courts at Highland Park, four dual-use and one dedicated court at Foster Park, and indoor courts at both Carver Community Center and Kokomo Family YMCA .

Foster Park Skatepark (located in Foster Park) and Studebaker Skatepark (located in Studebaker Park) are open for all BMX bikes, boards and blades.

Kokomo Beach Family Aquatic Center

This family-friendly outdoor waterpark features high energy water slides, lazy river, kiddie slide, leisure pool, lap pool, and kid’s splash pad. Family changing rooms, lockers, and concessions are available for a full day of fun in the sun!

Industrial Heritage Trail

This local trail provides a great way to see Kokomo’s historic industrial sites by foot or bike. The trail goes through Downtown Kokomo and provides resting spaces throughout, including one near a piece of public art near Kokomo Opalescent Glass. The trail also connects to the Nickel Plate Trail by a pedestrian bridge over Indiana 931.

Kokomo Little Links

This brand new 18-hole miniature golf course and shaved ice stand located in Kokomo’s Cutler Park. This family-friendly and inclusive attraction is ADA accessible and managed by local nonprofit Bridges Outreach. Kokomo Little Links is open seasonally and hours vary.

Winding Creek Music Festival: where music comes alive

Experience live bluegrass, workshops, and more at this unique music festival.

The Winding Creek Music Festival is a chance to immerse yourself in the world of Bluegrass, country, slow jams, folk music and even gospel. Whether you’re in the mood to sit back and listen or you’re interested in learning how to play, the festival offers something for all ages!

The festival draws people from across the U.S. People come to camp, listen, perform and learn how to play a variety of instruments used in Bluegrass music. The festival is taking place August 13-16, 2026.

Throughout the festival, visitors can take advantage of workshops to learn the basics of fiddle, mandolin and banjo. There is also a workshop for children, and those who participate will have the opportunity to perform Saturday night.

The event will have a number of food vendors and a beer and wine garden near the stage. The site offers free camping for tents and RVs, and pets are allowed for those who are camping. There’s also plenty of shade on-site. Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair!

The Winding Creek Music Festival will run Thursday through Sunday (rain or shine), with ticket prices varying each day. Children 12 & under free.

Explore Kokomo Trails with Koko-Go Free Ride

Ride your way through Kokomo’s scenic trails and vibrant downtown.

Getting out to explore Kokomo is as easy as riding a bike — literally! Koko-Go Free Ride is a local and free bike share program in downtown Kokomo. Open seasonally.

With 24 adult bikes, 4 children’s bikes, 2 tag along attachments, and one tandem, they have bikes available for all to use. When you rent a bike, you can enjoy up to 3 hours of riding time.

There’s plenty to see without even leaving downtown! Find local art, parks, colorful murals, sculptures, shops, brewery and eateries along downtown trails.

Koko-Go Free Ride (bike share building) is located at 307 S. Main St., directly behind the Foxes Trail restaurant along the Kokomo Riverwalk in downtown Kokomo.

From carnival rides to farm traditions, there’s something for all.

Carnival rides, adorable animals, live music, and a whole lot more are what’s in store for you at the Howard County Fair in Greentown. The 2026 fair is slated for July 12-18, and it has a little something for everyone to enjoy.

The Midway is the most popular of the fair’s attractions and is home to exciting rides and challenging carnival games. Be sure to take a relaxing ride on the Ferris Wheel to catch a fantastic view of the fair!

Of course, the fair is more than just rides! Check out the livestock barn to meet charming farm animals and experience livestock shows. Want something action-packed? Head to the Northwest Grandstands for tractor-pulls, demolition derbies, and more!

What could be better than watching movies with your family on a Saturday night? Enjoying those movies under the stars in Foster Park in downtown Kokomo is definitely better!

The Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department will host three Family Movie Nights this year. All events are free and open to the public.

Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult to all Family Movie Night events.

A slip-and-slide of epic proportions

free, family-friendly splash event.

It’s likely the largest slip-and-slide you’ll ever see!

Basically, there’s a giant tarp put down (on a hill if possible) and it’s continually sprayed with water by the fire department. It’s a local summer favorite.

Sponsored by the Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department & Kokomo Fire Department. Free and open to all ages to enjoy!

The free activity is held throughout the summer at different park locations from 1-3 p.m.

Park Band entertains weekly

Enjoy a timeless summer tradition
of free live music in the park.

Kokomo Park Band has been bringing music to the community for more than a century.

The band is comprised of more than 130 musicians within a 90-mile radius of Kokomo and around 48 musicians take the stage each week for the summer series.

The Kokomo Park Band will perform starting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evenings during the summer months in Highland Park, 900 W. Defenbaugh St., Kokomo. It will also perform a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6.

There’s no admission cost, nor is there a cost for the popcorn served each week.

Those attending the shows are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs due to limited seating. In the event of rain, concerts may be moved indoors.

The Kokomo Park Band will perform on the following dates at 7:30 p.m., though themes for each week's performance have not yet been set:

Haynes Apperson Festival: a Kokomo summer staple

Celebrate Kokomo’s heritage with cars, music, food, and family fun.

The Haynes Apperson Festival is three solid days of fun packed with family-friendly activities in downtown Kokomo. The 2026 festival is slated for June 18-20 with most of the festivities taking place in Foster Park.

With the festival commemorating Kokomo’s automotive heritage, there will be plenty of cars with a commemorative run, cruise-in and car show planned.

Speaking of cars, the Haynes Apperson Parade on Saturday will have plenty of them as well. Residents line the streets each year as the parade winds through downtown Kokomo. It celebrates our country’s independence and our city’s automotive heritage with one big parade.

Proving quite popular each year is the Sports Festival. The sport offerings run the gamut: karate, 3-on-3 basketball, canoeing, tennis, volleyball, 5k, pole vaulting, cornhole tournament and more. For complete details on the sports festival, click here.

Foster Park will be packed with carnival rides, vendors and tons of food options. See the complete schedule of events here.

Live music is scheduled every night, and the festival always draws to a close with fireworks. Weather permitting, the fireworks will start immediately following the concert on Saturday evening in Foster Park. Feel free to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show! All concerts are free, however, VIP tickets are available for seating close to the stage for $25 per show.

Riverwalk Concert Series brings live music to downtown

Spend an evening with great music, craft drinks, and community vibes.

The Riverwalk in downtown Kokomo is a great place to experience live music, local art, and craft beer this summer and fall. All concerts in the Riverwalk Concert Series are held at the outdoor Riverwalk stage (located behind The Foxes Trail restaurant) on South Main Street. Live music will be from 6 to 10 p.m. and all concerts are free for all ages.

Beer, wine and canned cocktails will be available from The Coterie, which will also be serving burgers and other items.

At the Kokomo Downtown Farmers Market you will find friendly vendors selling only what they grow, raise or make themselves. The outdoor market opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 2. This year's season will have an extended run, with closing day set for Saturday, Oct. 10.

At the farmers market you’ll find beautiful, healthy vegetables, as well as delicious breads and sweets prepared by local talented bakers. Live music, cooking demonstrations, local art and other activities are planned weekly.

The farmers market’s list of small farm and business vendors continues to grow and diversify, offering products from high-quality produce and farm fresh meats to one-of-a-kind artwork and vegan treats. KDFM vendors work hard to provide a consistent source of sustainably and humanely raised food to the community.

Big time racing at Kokomo Speedway

Feel the roar of the engines at one of Indiana’s legendary dirt tracks.

Indiana’s Baddest Bullring is right here in Kokomo and has been thrilling racing fans for over 75 years!

Over the years the track has played host to virtually a who’s who in racing history. A.J. Foyt, Mario Andretti, Lloyd Ruby, Troy Ruttman, Johnny Parsons, Parnelli Jones, Bill Vuckovich, Pancho Carter, John Andretti, Steve Butler, J.J. Yeley, Steve Kinser, Jack Hewitt, Rich Vogler, Tom Bigelow, Tony Stewart and Mike Groff are among those who have both raced at the track as well as in the Indianapolis 500.

Kokomo Speedway is a fast, 1/4 mile semi-banked clay oval located off Davis Road. The track got its start in 1947 and now runs races select Sunday nights from May to July, as well as special weekend events.

It’s a family-oriented facility, even offering a family seating section that prohibits alcohol. It also has family-friendly pricing and kids ages 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult (to most events.)

Pit passes are available to purchase, and minors are allowed in the pits with a signed release. There’s also a souvenir shop, closed-circuit television screens, two full-service concession stands, permanent front stretch restrooms and a beer garden.

The track’s season is packed full of action, including Indiana Sprint Week, Kokomo Grand Prix and the popular Sprint Car Smackdown.

1. Old Ben – The World’s Largest Steer

At Highland Park, Old Ben still draws attention more than a century after his rise to fame. Born in 1902, this massive steer grew at an astonishing rate, eventually tipping the scales at well over 2 tons at the time of his death in 1910. He toured fairs across Indiana and even earned a spot in “Ripley’s Believe It or Not.”

2. Giant Sycamore Stump

Estimated to be up to 1,500 years old, the Sycamore Stump once stood along the Wildcat Creek and reached 100 feet tall before storms reduced it to a hollow, 12-foot stump. Seeking to preserve this enormous relic of the county’s pioneer period, crews undertook a carefully orchestrated effort in 1916 to move the stump to Highland Park. It now shares a pavilion with Old Ben, offering another glimpse into the region’s early landscape.

3. KokoMantis

Towering over the intersection of Sycamore and Washington streets in downtown Kokomo, this piece of public art is pretty hard to miss. This 17-foot-tall, 22-foot-long praying mantis sculpture is built from recycled materials like World War II fuel pontoons and traffic light poles. Painted a striking electric green, its towering presence is perfect for humorous Kodak moments.

4. Willie the Whale

A Hoosier landmark since 1964, you can now find Willie the Whale along the Wildcat Creek Walk of Excellence in Foster Park. Visitors can enter his hollow mouth to see photos and learn about his past stops at a miniature golf course, a zoo, and a water park.

5. Haynes Art & Photo Car

Maybe not as strange, but definitely in the Top 5 is the 1894 replica Haynes Art & Photo Car found in downtown Kokomo’s Artist Alley. Built in 2010 by Duane Johnson and Vernon Graves, this sculpture is an art replica of “America’s First Car” invented by former Kokomo resident Elwood Haynes. Hop in the car and snap a pic!

BobKats bring professional basketball action to Kokomo

The team plays its home games at the historic Memorial Gymnasium in downtown Kokomo as a member of The Basketball League (TBL). The atmosphere during home games is nothing short of electric!

Experience Kokomo Opalescent Glass tours

Have you ever wondered how glass is made? Experience a fascinating piece of Kokomo’s history with a behind-the-scenes factory tour at Kokomo Opalescent Glass, the oldest art glass company in the United States!

During the guided factory tour, stand mere feet away and feel the heat as you watch molten glass hand-ladled from a 2,000-degree furnace. The factory has been making world-famous, hand-mixed and colorful sheet glass using the same techniques from its beginnings in 1888 when production started in Kokomo.

Glass produced at Kokomo Opalescent Glass can be seen in installations in Disney World, Air Force Academy, many churches around the world, and even the Vatican. Come experience it for yourself!

Tours are available Monday through Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and must be booked in advanced. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for students. Please call 765-457-1829 to reserve a spot. Christmas at the Seiberling: A beloved holiday tradition

Step into a holiday wonderland.

There isn’t a more elegant place to celebrate the season than Christmas at the Seiberling at the Seiberling Mansion in Kokomo, Indiana, and its holiday celebration begins on Saturday, Nov. 29 and will continue through Dec. 30, 2025. This year’s theme is “The Carols of Christmas.”

The elegance and grandeur of the Seiberling Mansion is a perfect setting for its stunning collection of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and garlands, and more. Inside, take in all the holiday beauty, get some ideas for your own tree, and marvel at the dozens of trees in 20 rooms on all three floors of the mansion. Vote for your favorite decorated room with donations to support the Howard County Historical Society and help pick the People’s Choice!

The Seiberling Mansion will be closed in the run-up to the holiday season to let the decorators do their magic. In the meantime, mark your calendar to start the holidays with your family at the Christmas at the Seiberling Opening Night Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa will arrive at 6 p.m. on Opening Night to help flip the switch and light up the mansion and grounds. Tickets are $10 adults and $5 for students ages 18 & under. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Christmas at the Seiberling regular hours will be Tuesday-Sunday from 1-4 p.m. starting Nov. 30 through Dec. 30, 2025. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children (free admission is a benefit of HCHS membership.)

City of Lights in Highland Park

Highland Park’s City of Lights will illuminate Highland Park starting at dusk on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025.

The holiday tradition, which started in 1993 with eight displays, now consists of more than 50 light displays including a carousel, reindeer, Christmas village, Santa listening to his favorite tunes through a jukebox, and more. Even the classic Vermont Bridge gets adorned with festive decor!

Visitors can drive through the display every evening starting at dusk. The lights will stay on all season, and Santa Claus will be there most evenings from 6-10 p.m. through Dec. 24. Admission is free.

Christmas Lights of Greentown
Howard County Fairgrounds

Drive through the Christmas Lights of Greentown to see large light displays, archways and thousands of lights at the Howard County Fairgrounds. Stop in the Round Barn to see the Christmas Village and enjoy hot chocolate (you may even see Santa there!) Opening night is Nov. 29, 2024 at 6 p.m. and will be open on Nov. 30 and Dec 1, 5-8, 12-15, 19-25 from 6-9 p.m. Light display main entrance is located off Meridian Street on the west side of the Howard County Fairgrounds.

Christmas at the Seiberling

Thousands of twinkling lights – both inside and out – make the mansion one of the most elegant places to celebrate the holiday season. Opening night lighting ceremony will be Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy free evenings at the Seiberling on select dates in December.

Lights in the Airpark
Grissom Air Museum
1000 W. Hoosier Blvd., Peru
Take a short drive north of Kokomo to see the Lights in the Airpark display at the Grissom Air Museum, including multiple lighted displays near the aircraft on Thursday through Sundays starting on Nov. 29, 2024. Gates open at 4:30 and close at 9:00 p.m.

Free Evenings at the Seiberling

Experience the beauty of the season.

The Seiberling Mansion in Kokomo is transformed annually for the holiday season, with every room artfully decorated by local organizations and individuals. Christmas at the Seiberling opens the Saturday after Thanksgiving and runs through the end of the year. This year’s theme is “The Carols of Christmas.”

Visitors can experience the beauty of the historic mansion and its beautiful holiday decor at no cost on select nights in December. Special evening hours will be offered from 4-8 p.m. on Dec. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2025.

During these special evening times, everyone can enjoy free admission to Evenings at the Seiberling thanks to generous local charitable sponsors.

No ticket is required for entry. Musical entertainment will be offered on many of the sponsored evenings.

Traditional Christmas at the Seiberling regular hours will be Tuesday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m. through Dec. 30, 2025. Admission is charged.

We Care Trim-A-Tree Festival

Outdoor ice skating returns to downtown Kokomo! The rink will open the Friday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 28, 2025) and will remain open on select dates through January 11, 2026. There will be 33 days open to the public during the 7-week skating season.

Kokomo Municipal Stadium will again transform into The Frozen Sandlot this winter. The 60-foot by 90-foot rink will feature real ice. That’s right, real ice. This isn’t like other temporary rinks which utilize artificial or synthetic ice-like materials.

Not much of a skater? Spectators are welcome! The rink will be placed close to the backstop so you can watch the action on the ice.

Skates will be available to rent and skate sizes vary from Children size 8 to Adult size 13. Can I bring my own skates? Absolutely! Also, you can bring a helmet if you wish. (Helmets will be available for rent as well.)

All tickets can be purchased at the rink with cash or cards.

Enjoy an Old Fashioned Christmas Parade through Main Street in downtown Kokomo on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2025.

Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and route begins at Walnut & Market Streets and ends at Main & Sycamore Streets.

Entries will include local marching bands, lighted floats featuring service organizations, local businesses and personalities, and of course, Santa & Mrs. Claus!

Activities will begin at 4 p.m. and will run until the start of the parade, including vendors, miniature farm animals you can pet, various Christmas characters to meet, kid’s bingo with prizes, writing letters to Santa, free kiddie train rides for children, and more.

Santa will be available to visit with kids immediately after the parade.

The magic of the holiday season kicks off early this year at Heritage Farm, just west of Kokomo. On November 8-9, 2025, the farm will transform into a festive wonderland for a two-day celebration filled with shopping, music, food, and holiday fun.

Wander the beautiful grounds of Heritage Farm and discover one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts from 25 local artisans offering high-quality, handmade items. You’ll also find cozy clothing and accessories made from alpaca fiber inside the farm’s popular alpaca store. All vendor spaces are located in heated tents and barns, ensuring a warm and welcoming shopping experience no matter the weather.

But this event is about much more than shopping — it’s a full day of holiday cheer. Enjoy live music, kids activities, and craft stations where you can make your own Christmas decoration. Grab a bite from fantastic food trucks, sip on beer or wine, and cozy up by the bonfire with a roasted s’more in hand.

Families won’t want to miss the tractor-drawn wagon rides, photo opportunities with Santa, or even a chance to pose with one of Heritage Farm’s adorable alpacas. With more than 50 alpacas on-site, it’s easy to see why this event has become a local favorite for visitors of all ages!

Admission is just $10 per vehicle — a great value for a whole day of festive fun. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate upon arrival.

Each year, holiday magic fills the air during the City of Kokomo Christmas Parade in downtown Kokomo! The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025.

The parade route will start at Main & Madison streets and go north on Main Street to Superior Street. Visitors can see local marching bands, lighted floats featuring service organizations, local businesses and personalities, and of course, Santa & Mrs. Claus!

In addition, there will be plenty of festive fun to enjoy before the parade start! Pre-parade activities will begin on the Courthouse Square at 4 p.m. until the parade begins. Kids can also meet Santa immediately after the parade.
